Air Caraïbes Cancelled and Delayed Flight Compensation

Airline Rating & Flight Compensation

Air Caraibes Flight Delays Compensation

If you’ve been flying with Air Caraibes, it’s possible that your flight was delayed. While the airline does its best to stick to the scheduled arrival time, some of its flights do arrive late. When the delay was caused by “extraordinary circumstances” such as a strike, Air Traffic Control restrictions, or adverse weather conditions, then the airline cannot be held responsible and no compensation is due to their passengers.

But when the delay was the responsibility of Air Caraibes, then the airline must pay you up to 600€ for your trouble. This includes cases of “technical issues” or “operational difficulties”. The EU Regulation 261/2004, also known as EC261, protects your air passenger rights. And ClaimCompass is here to enforce them for you.

With our Compensation Calculator, you can fill out your flight details and know if you’re eligible and to what amount, in less than 2 minutes. Give us the authorization to represent you in front of Air Caraibes, sit back, and we’ll get your compensation for you.

      Air Caraibes On-Time Performance

According to Expedia, 52% of Air Caraibes’ flights are delayed. The average delay is 41 minutes.

If this data is correct, the on-time performance rating of Air Caraibes would be about 2.4/10, well below average.

      Air Caraibes Flight Cancellation Compensation

Some of Air Caraibes’ flights are also cancelled, leaving passengers into even more trouble. The airline isn’t always responsible, of course - in some cases, the decision is out of their control. But when Air Caraibes is responsible, passengers are once again entitled to compensation.

In the event of the cancellation of one of their flight, the airline is required to let the passengers know at least 14 days prior to departure. If Air Caraibes failed to do so and was responsible for the cancellation, you may be entitled to compensation under EC261.
