Flydubai Flight Delays Compensation
Flight delays bother flydubai just as much as you. They also have a schedule to stick to, after all. However, not all delays are the same - and when the airline is responsible, it’s only fair that passengers get compensated for their trouble.
That’s what the EU Regulation 261/2004 is all about. You can get up to 600€ in compensation for your delayed flight with flydubai, depending on the length of your journey. To be eligible, you must have reached your destination at least 3 hours after the originally scheduled time of arrival, and the airline must be responsible for the delay.

Flydubai Flight Cancellation Compensation
Some of flydubai’s flights are also cancelled, leaving passengers into even more trouble. The airline isn’t always responsible, of course - in some cases, the decision is out of their control. But when flydubai is responsible, passengers are once again entitled to compensation.
In the event of the cancellation of one of their flight, the airline is required to let the passengers know at least 14 days prior to departure. If flydubai failed to do so and was responsible for the cancellation, you may be entitled to compensation under EC261.
And remember: if the airline cancels your flight, they also have to offer you a choice between a rebooking on an alternate flight to your destination as soon as possible (provided that seats are available) or the refund of your ticket. That’s independent to your right to compensation.
